We accept patients with health cards from other provinces outside Ontario, except Quebec. Patient with no other health benefits can receive testing with payment. For pricing, please contact our office.
Yes. Your referring physician may make a request for a consultation if abnormal results are found. Your results will also be forwarded to your referring physician for further consultation.
After receiving your referral, we can usually schedule a diagnostic testing appointment within a few days. Your follow up consultation may be scheduled within a month after your testing has been completed.
Yes. In addition to the treadmill or exercise stress tests, we offer the Dobutamine Stress Echocardiography. This involves administration of a medication that stimulates the heart mimicking physical stress. This procedures offers the same results to patients who cannot perform exercise.
- Take a shower before your appointment
- Do not apply any oils or moisturizers to your skin
- Shave your chest as necessary for your testing
- Eat meals as normal but avoid any caffeinated food or drinks.
- Dress in comfortable clothing that is easy to remove. Please wear pants to your appointment even if you are wearing a dress.
- Wear running shoes if you are performing a treadmill test.
- Follow medications restrictions before your appointment as advised by our staff.
- Bring medications or a current medications list with you to your appointment. please include all supplementary medications such as vitamins or herbal supplements.
